The Sales & Marketing team is dedicated to supporting our customers through one of the most important moments of their lives: finding and purchasing a new home. We pride ourselves on putting customers first, and our sales and marketing teams, both locally and nationally, collaborate to showcase the perfect homes for our customers. The team’s roles include website development and maintenance, marketing campaign management, customer inquiry handling, guiding customers through the purchase and personalization process, and ensuring customer satisfaction post-sale. Some team members work on-site in showrooms, while others support from the office, all focused on meeting customer needs and helping them find their ideal home.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, your role involves delivering high standards of service, supporting sales operations, and achieving optimal selling prices while maintaining company standards.

You will be expected to:

  1. Provide exceptional customer service to prospective and existing purchasers in a welcoming, professional, and efficient manner.
  2. Offer expertise on the company’s house types, specifications, extras, and procedures.
  3. Match available group schemes to maximize sales, ensuring all customers are qualified.
  4. Keep all paperwork and site administration up to date, and complete required reports within deadlines.
  5. Maintain current knowledge of legal requirements such as Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading (2008), CML, H&S, Data Protection Act, and Consumer Code.
  6. Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal colleagues and external contacts, including the Sales Manager, Sales Adviser, and Site Management team.
  7. Maintain the CRM database, i-Sales, as directed by your Sales Manager.
  8. Ensure show homes, completed products, and the sales office are presented to the agreed standard, including signage.
  9. Contribute to PR and marketing proposals to the Sales Adviser.
  10. Conduct local and market research, including competitor analysis, to demonstrate excellent knowledge of the local area, amenities, and current market trends.
  11. Participate in regular training and development as identified by the Sales Management team.
  12. Process credit and debit card transactions in compliance with PCI DSS standards.

To be successful in this role, candidates should have:

  1. Experience in a service environment such as retail, hospitality, banking, housebuilding, or estate agency.
  2. A good understanding of market dynamics and competitors, with commercial awareness.
  3. Ability to understand and respond to customer needs to uphold the company\’s reputation.
  4. Resilience and motivation to meet personal and organizational targets.
  5. Ability to remain calm under pressure.
  6. Up-to-date knowledge of legislation, economic conditions, and technology.
  7. Strong communication and negotiation skills, capable of influencing and building rapport with customers.
  8. Openness to change and exploring new ways of working to support growth.
  9. Ability to support and share knowledge with team members.
  10. Capacity to build relationships across functions, both internally and externally.
  11. Flexibility regarding working hours, including weekends and bank holidays.
