The Customer Care team ensures home buyers receive the best care following their home buying experience. In this customer‑facing role you will provide a high level of service, answering questions, providing practical help and ensuring homes meet the highest standards. Construction or building experience, especially in trades such as painting, decorating, carpentry or joinery, is preferred.

You will report to the Customer Care Operations Manager or Customer Care Manager and will:

  • Take instruction from Customer Care Co‑ordinators/Administrators, ensuring all customer appointments are attended on time and any required materials are sourced before the appointment.
  • Resolve defects promptly to a high standard and obtain customer sign‑off after works are completed.
  • Complete all required paperwork (timesheets, mileage forms, SHE forms, invoices) and submit them to the Divisional offices on the last day of each month.
  • Carry out inspections of reported defects as required and produce a full report with photographs for the Co‑ordinator/Administrator.
  • Report any repetitive defects on active and non‑active sites to the Customer Care Manager/Executive for discussion with the Commercial/Technical Director.

Qualifications

  • Comprehensive knowledge of construction and ability to problem‑solve defects, ideally with a background in the trades (painting, decorating, carpentry, joinery).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner and deliver high service standards.
