The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.
Reporting to the Technical Team Leader, you will ensure that all technical information is available to the production and fitting departments to suit the planned programme. We’ve been nationally recognised as a 5 star housebuilder since 2010 for supplying high-quality homes for all generations. Barratt adopts a hybrid working model, allowing office, on-site and remote work as the role dictates.
Key responsibilities include:
- Produce material cutting lists for Group house-types requiring fitted wardrobes.
- Assist with new product/design layouts of marketing suite and bedroom furniture.
- Provide technical support to BD Living sales and installation teams to align installations with Barratt Group requirements.
- Generate technical cuttings lists and paperwork within required timescales, identifying standard and bespoke products and processes for furniture installation.
- Deliver professional and efficient service for product installation to internal teams and Barratt Group teams.
- Share technical skills and processes with internal teams and own specific technical tasks/requirements within the technical team.
Qualifications and skills:
- Excellent organisation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently or within a team.
- Experience interpreting/referencing architectural/technical drawings of house-type layouts, scaling off drawings beneficial.
- Experience in furniture design/manufacture beneficial, processing production orders, creating Bill of Materials for wardrobe manufacture.
- Experience creating furniture layouts beneficial.
- Experience using CAD or similar drawing packages beneficial.
