What you'll be doing?

Within the Construction environment, you will buy materials, manage big projects, ensure health and safety and customer service across around 400 developments worldwide. Your work will span new builds, brownfield sites and the adaptation of existing buildings.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Site Manager in coordinating trades, direct labour and materials to meet the production programme.
  • Work with the Sales Team to ensure sales/build meetings are attended, procedures are adhered to, and inspections of show homes are carried out.
  • Accept responsibility for duties as directed by the Site Manager, deputising when required.
  • Ensure the on-site construction team is fully resourced and well-directed, providing communication, training, development and workload organisation.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to customers in line with company guidelines.

What you'll need:

  • Experience of working within established build programmes.
  • Assertiveness to ensure delivery of targets by the on-site team and trades/labour.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks to meet changing business needs.
  • Member of the Chartered Institute of Builders and/or qualified to NVQ level in Construction Management or a time-served tradesman with considerable experience of the full range of construction trades.
  • In-depth knowledge of all aspects of the construction trade and relevant legislative requirements (Health and Safety, NHBC, Building Regulations).
  • Good knowledge of dealing with customer service issues.
