Are you passionate about construction and looking to progress your career with a market-leading housebuilder? Barratt West Midlands, one of the highest-performing divisions within Barratt Developments, is looking for a committed and driven Assistant Site Manager to join our growing team.

As an Assistant Site Manager, you will support the Site Manager in delivering high-quality new homes on time, on budget, and to a high standard . You’ll play a key role in ensuring health and safety compliance, managing subcontractors, and maintaining our reputation for excellence in customer satisfaction and build quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in day-to-day management of construction site activities

• Support the coordination of trades, subcontractors, and materials

• Ensure work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards

• Conduct regular quality inspections and maintain accurate records

• Help manage site logistics, site presentation, and health & safety compliance

• Assist with customer care and ensure homes are ready for handover

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience working in a similar role within the housebuilding industry

• Strong understanding of NHBC standards, building regulations, and health & safety requirements

• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills

• A proactive approach and commitment to achieving targets and deadlines

• Valid CSCS card, SMSTS, and First Aid qualifications preferred
