As an Assistant Site Manager, you will support the Site Manager in delivering high-quality new homes on time, on budget, and to a high standard. You’ll play a key role in ensuring health and safety compliance, managing subcontractors, and maintaining our reputation for excellence in customer satisfaction and build quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in day-to-day management of construction site activities
- Support the coordination of trades, subcontractors, and materials
- Ensure work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards
- Conduct regular quality inspections and maintain accurate records
- Help manage site logistics, site presentation, and health & safety compliance
- Assist with customer care and ensure homes are ready for handover
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience working in a similar role within the housebuilding industry
- Strong understanding of NHBC standards, building regulations, and health & safety requirements
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- A proactive approach and commitment to achieving targets and deadlines
- Valid CSCS card, SMSTS, and First Aid qualifications preferred
