Overview

Within the Construction environment, think about buying materials, managing big projects, ensuring health and safety and customer service. The company works on developments across the UK, including brownfield sites and adapting existing buildings.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out all works on site as instructed by the Site Manager and in line with BDW Standards and procedures
  • Inspect on-site signage (large sale signs, plot signs, safety signs, etc.) and ensure they are clean and in good repair
  • Take personal responsibility for health and safety on site and report any breaches to the Site Manager
  • Ensure protection of fixed material is carried out by the Sub-contractor in line with BDW procedures
  • Maintain protection of fixed material until the last possible moment and notify the Site Manager of any removal or abuse
  • Maintain compound and welfare facilities
  • Keep all plots under construction tidy by all trades
  • Walk round all plots daily to ensure no surplus materials are lying about
  • Ensure all site waste is segregated and recycled following BDW guidelines
  • Check show home gardens and public open spaces weekly and remove any rubbish blown onto these areas
