Barrafina is a highly awarded Modern Spanish bar Restaurant in London, serving the highest quality seasonal ingredients. The guests eat and drink on a beautiful marble-topped bar where they watch the chefs at work. The front of house teams work around the bar, creating an energetic and uniquely enjoyable service. The Junior Sous Chef Role
- 2 years experience in a similar role within a high volume, quality led restaurant kitchen
- Excellent knowledge of our menus, ingredients, allergens and adherence to all Food Safety and hygiene standards
- Good understanding of ordering & wastage, stock management, Chef rotas
- Understanding of flavours balance, a passion for food and your own development is a must
- Love for the hospitality industry, Spanish food and culture
- Ability to run all sections of the kitchen including the pass when needed
- Strong team ethic showing respect for your colleagues
- Positively train and lead a team of junior chefs
- Good level of English language
- A passion for your own development is a must
