The Cybersecurity Analyst supports the timely delivery of Barracuda services, including security alarm analysis, troubleshooting, incident resolution, and customer management. Working within a skilled SOC team, this role addresses security issues across our customer base and supports 24x7x365 operations, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

What You’ll Be Working On

  • Monitor networks daily for security events to detect threats, intrusions, or compromises.
  • Stay updated on the global threat landscape and publish threat advisories regularly.
  • Respond to security alarms, analyze, and escalate incidents.
  • Participate in incident management and response efforts.
  • Manage customer security issues by understanding and mitigating risks.
  • Provide first-line operational support for Barracuda's security services.
  • Conduct internal and external vulnerability assessments.
  • Support firewall and mail filtering requests at Tier one level.
  • Address general security inquiries and provide recommendations.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, escalate, and remediate system health issues.

What You Bring To The Role

  • 3+ years of experience in software development or equivalent.
  • Basic technical skills in application/system architecture, infrastructure, SQL, networking, SDLC, security, and quality.
  • Intermediate skills in configuration management and testing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Information Security, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Desired: CompTIA Network+ or Security+ certification.
