BARR Personnel are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 Day/Night and Tramper Drivers for an ongoing contract in Felixstowe, with the chance of full-time employment. You will be provided with your own vehicle Monday to Friday, starting from 04:00 till 16:00 on Days and from 17:00 till 03:00 on Nights. All Tramping positions will have 4 nights out a week and can sometimes have run-ins on a Saturday. Work is carried out for a long-established Haulage company out of Felixstowe throughout the year.
Minimum standards required are the following:
- HGV Class 1 licence (CAT C+E) held for at least 2 years for insurance purposes
- Drivers CPC card
- Digital tachograph card
- No DR, DD, DG or IN conviction codes on driving licence
- Good communication skills with other colleagues on site
- Safety boots and hi-viz
- Delivery experience is essential
