Experienced Junior Sous Chef
Accommodation is £95 per week - a double room in a shared flat above the pub.
Earn up to £38,500 per annum package (salary + tronc service charge).
Barons Pubs are an independent, fresh food Pub/Restaurant group with 11 sites across Surrey, Sussex and Berkshire. We have owned The Jovial Sailor for 6 successful years and it has built up a loyal customer base and offers full table service in the restaurant areas, music nights, quiz nights and we host many private functions.

What we expect...
Our Junior Sous Chefs are committed and passionate about their teams and about the food that they serve. For a successful application, you will need to have had some previous experience of working in a high-volume kitchen – delivering dishes to company time standards and specification and managing teams of up to 6 (Chefs and KPs) on a busy service.
A key factor of your success will be the ability to remain calm under pressure, and have the qualities to lead and motivate the team to consistently produce great food.
You will have a solid commitment to mentoring and developing teams, and a keen eye for detail.
You will assist the Head Chef in providing exceptional food quality and presentation.
You will strive to ensure the kitchen is run professionally, profitably, efficiently and compliantly.
