We are looking to recruit a dedicated and experienced Head Chef, who wants to work with a motivating, progressive and ever-evolving company.
The dishes and specials on the menus are created by our food development team and change regularly; ensuring your kitchen team delivers meals to these tight specifications is a key part of the role.
The Curious Pig is the latest addition to the Barons family and boasts 9 beautiful, boutique letting rooms and a large outside garden space with play area, a bar, dining pods and a bookable patio function area
What we expect…
- You will drive standards and develop and motivate your kitchen staff; leading by example and inspiring their thirst for success.
- You will lead from the front, running smooth service sessions; setting and maintaining the highest standards of food quality and consistency.
- You will manage effective kitchen controls to achieve good gross profit, efficient ordering and stock control, as well as driving excellent compliance and standards in health, hygiene and food safety.
- We are looking for a motivated Head Chef who will not only join the management team of the Pub but also the bigger Chef community within Barons; attending training workshops and team meetings.
- Our customers want a great experience every time they visit one of Barons Pubs and together with the front of house team, it is your job to ensure that the customer’s expectations are met every time.
