Key Responsibilities
- A hygiene operative encompasses a number of roles, training will be provided for all roles as required to suit the needs of the business.
- Production cleaner: this role requires the competent and safe cleaning of the department areas.
- Service Cleaner: this role requires the competent and safe cleaning of all factory facilities, the removal of waste from the site and the servicing of laundry and changing facilities.
- Deep cleaner: this role requires the competent and safe deep cleaning of all the machinery and all department areas including high level overheads.
- Be fully conversant with the operation and care of any mechanical cleaning equipment used in conjunction with your hygiene duties.
- Be fully conversant with the safe preparation, handling, and disposal of cleaning chemicals and disinfectants used in conjunction with your hygiene duties.
- Comply with company personal hygiene policies at all times.
- Ensure that the cleaning process does not pose a Health & Safety risk to employees and visitors.
- Service / Deep Cleaner role will be to carry out cleaning of floors with scrubbing machine, washroom, cloakrooms, drains, perimeter of factory and assist with canteen cleaning.
