Legal Counsel (2–5 PQE) – Broad In-House Role | London

A well-established international business is seeking a Legal Counsel (2–5 PQE) to join its collaborative in-house legal team in Central London.

This is an excellent opportunity for a junior to mid-level lawyer looking to step into a genuinely broad, business-facing role, working closely with senior stakeholders across a wide range of legal and commercial matters.

The Role

Reporting into senior legal leadership, you will support the UK business while also engaging with international colleagues across the wider group.

The role offers exposure to a broad mix of work. Prior experience across all areas is not required — a strong interest in learning and a willingness to engage with the business in a hands‑on, pragmatic way are key.

Typical matters include:

  • Commercial contracts and day‑to‑day advisory work
  • Corporate governance and company secretarial matters
  • Corporate transactions and general corporate support
  • Insurance matters
  • Employment/HR issues
  • Operational and regulatory matters

About You

  • 2–5 years’ PQE (private practice or in‑house)
  • Strong academic background
  • Commercial, pragmatic and solutions‑oriented
  • Comfortable taking ownership and working closely with stakeholders
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Adaptable and able to work across a range of matters
