Our client is a pioneering and rapidly developing biotechnology company based in Cambridge, who now seek a lawyer or experienced contracts manager to oversee their commercial legal contracting and broader legal issues.
Reporting to the Head of Intellectual Property and based at their head office in Cambridge, the role will oversee, prepare, negotiate, execute and maintain all commercial contracting and risk working alongside R & D, clinical operations and legal functions covering contracts such as MSAs, MTAs, CDAs, research and collaboration, clinical trial, manufacturing, quality and supply agreements as well as others.
You will either be a qualified lawyer or experienced contracts manager, preferably with existing experience of working for or with a similar biotech, academic tech transfer office, pharmaceutical or life sciences company (although other relevant candidates may be considered).
You will also need to be a team oriented, proactive self starter who can operate in a smaller fast moving organisation and communicate and work effectively across all levels of a business.
The role can be worked on a full or part time basis and will operate a hybrid office working model (which may depend on the number of days worked).
