We are currently assisting an International pharmaceutical client with the recruitment of their first patent attorney for Europe.

Reporting to the European/international Head of Legal, the role will handle general patent-related intellectual property matters including intellectual property due diligence, general IP consulting, management of IP litigation and other proceedings, IP prosecution and maintenance and patent strategy matters across Europe. The Patent Attorney will play a pivotal role in supporting their Patent Team based outside of Europe and/or US while serving as a key legal resource for their European operations.

You will be a qualified European patent attorney, ideally with some in-house experience with another international pharmaceutical organisation. You will also need to be able have a hands on approach and have the ability to work across an international company.

The role will require some travel in Europe and Japan and can be based in London or Amsterdam.
