We are looking for a reliable and professional Class 1 Driver (C+E) to join our growing team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery and collection of goods while complying with all road transport, drivers’ hours, and tachograph regulations.

To meet the job requirements, we expect a maximum of 6 penalty points on the licence and no DR endorsements, with ideally 12 months’ experience.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out vehicle safety checks.
  • Ensure loads are safely secured.
  • Complete collection and delivery paperwork.
  • Maintain a professional standard when dealing with customers and site staff.

Qualifications

  • Hold a valid Class 1 (C+E) driving licence, Driver CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Have previous Class 1 driving experience.
  • Be reliable, punctual, safety‑conscious, and possess a professional attitude and good communication skills.
  • Be flexible enough to work longer hours, including occasional night shifts and local shunts, as the workload varies between drivers.
  • Location & Compensation

Location: Barnsley & Doncaster. Pay: £15.00 per hour + mileage paid + additional on‑call allowance. Minimum of 15 hours per week.
