We are currently looking to recruit a CNC Horizontal Borer (NIGHT SHIFT) for our client based in Ecclesfield (Sheffield) S35.

Working Hours:
Monday-Thursday (16:30pm - 02:30am)
Pay Rate: £23.70 starting rate, based on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Set and operate CNC horizontal boring machines.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Select tooling, fixtures and machine offsets.
- Produce precision components to required tolerances.
- Carry out quality inspections throughout manufacture.
- Make program edits and tool adjustments where necessary.
- Work on one-off and low-volume components.
- Ensure all work meets customer quality requirements.
Requirements
- Previous CNC horizontal boring experience.
- Experience setting and operating CNC machinery.
- Ability to work from engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of tooling, cutting speeds and feeds.
