Barnsley Recruitment Services are seeking a skilled Joiner with a valid IPAF licence to join our client's dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in joinery and carpentry, with experience in using both hand and power tools. This role involves fabricating and installing various structures, primarily focusing on roofs and other wooden frameworks. The successful applicant will be expected to work efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate and assemble wooden structures, including roofs, doors, and windows.
- Use power tools and hand tools effectively to complete joinery tasks.
- Ensure all work is plumb, level, and square according to specifications.
- Perform heavy lifting as required for the installation of materials.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, including masons and painters, to complete projects.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
