The predicted salary is between 42750 - 52250 Β£ per year.

We are currently looking to recruit a Multi-Skilled Technician (Electrical Bias) to join our client based in Tenbury Wells. Our client is a manufacturer operating across multiple sites, supplying well-known beverage, food and household brands.

SALARY: Β£45,000 - Β£50,000 per annum, based on experience

WORKING HOURS: 4 on/4 off - 2 days, then 2 nights (7-7)

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plant breakdown response β€” diagnose and repair machinery faults quickly to minimise downtime.
  • Machinery servicing β€” carry out planned and reactive maintenance across injection and blow moulding equipment.
  • System changeovers β€” complete safe and efficient changeovers to support production schedules.
  • Minor engineering projects β€” assist with upgrades, modifications and small-scale improvement work.
  • Continuous improvement β€” identify and implement reliability, efficiency and safety improvements.
  • Injection moulding setter support β€” provide ongoing support to the Shift Injection Moulding Setter (full on-the-job training provided).

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Electrical qualification β€” minimum ONC or C&G 236 (or equivalent).
  • 18th Edition β€” advantageous but not essential.
  • PLC troubleshooting β€” including uploads and downloads of programs.
  • Hydraulic troubleshooting β€” confident diagnosing hydraulic faults.
  • Pneumatic troubleshooting β€” strong understanding of pneumatic systems.
  • General engineering skills β€” mechanical and electrical competence.
  • Injection or blow moulding experience β€” beneficial but not essential.
  • Automation experience β€” advantageous due to investment in Siemens S7 IPC-controlled robot palletisation systems.
