About the Senior Contracts Lawyer role:
This role will provide you with the opportunity to continue with your professional development within a large Commercial team, getting involved with interesting projects, procurement, and contributing to the development of leading practices. It’s an ideal role for someone looking for that next step in their career.
The successful Senior Contracts Lawyer will be responsible for the following duties:
- Directly line managing 1 Contracts Lawyer and 1 Legal Assistant.
- Working with senior management team.
- Deputising for the Principal Lawyer and supporting Lawyers in the team.
- Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
- Advising on all aspects of public procurement.
- Dealing with funding and grant agreements.
- Providing advice to a range of stakeholders.
- Advising on complex/multi-million pound projects.
