Teaching Assistant x 2
Required as soon as possible (subject to statutory checks)
12-month Temporary Post with the possibility of an extension to contract
28 ΒΎ hours per week, term time only, plus two inset days.
Grade 3
The Governors wish to appoint two caring, enthusiastic and motivated Teaching Assistants who are willing to work with us in our journey to outstanding and support us in driving forward our school aims to ensure that every child reaches their full potential.
The successful applicants will be committed to ensuring the highest standards in children's education by working as part of an excellent team to ensure that the wellbeing, behaviour and personal development of pupils enhances their learning opportunities and life skills.
The applicants must be willing to work alongside children with a range of Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND) to plan for and deliver tailored and personalised interventions that allow all children to access a high-quality mainstream education, as well as supporting all children to develop socially during outdoor play.
We are looking for someone who:
- Can form positive and caring relationships with all children.
- Is committed to ensuring the highest standards in children's education by working as part of a supportive and hardworking team to ensure that the wellbeing, behaviour and personal development of pupils enhances their learning opportunities and life skills.
- Shows initiative and the ability to be spontaneous.
- Has experience of working with children in all key stages.
- Enjoys planning and leading play-based learning opportunities.
- Has a passion for the outside classroom.
- Motivates our children to be increasingly independent and confident as they learn and grow.
- Possesses excellent subject knowledge of early phonics, reading, writing and numeracy.
- Has a good sense of humour, combined with energy and enthusiasm.
The successful candidates will have the children at the heart of everything they do and a passion for continued professional development. Applicants must hold GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above, together with a relevant Level 3 qualification (ie NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) in a relevant subject.
