We are excited to recruit a permanent Shared Lives Officer in Barnsley. We are seeking an ambitious, motivated and aspirational practitioner to join our Shared Lives team. The ideal candidate will be proactive, understand the requirements of a CQC Regulated Service and have experience of working with adults with additional needs. The preferred candidate should demonstrate knowledge of Shared Lives, will be able to meet the demands of a fast-paced working environment and should understand the ethos of supporting the delivery of high-quality support within a regulated service. Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage a carer caseload including any specific action plans that may require additional support, ensuring compliance with the Carer Handbook and identified policies and procedures.
- Complete / develop Support Plans incorporating risk assessments where necessary to safeguard service users, carers and the Shared Lives Service.
- Support operational issues that arise as part of your caseload with a responsive, person-centred approach.
