About the Post: An opportunity has arisen to join the People Service Centre Team at Barnsley Council. As a People Officer, you’ll help us to provide an effective service in relation to DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service). You’ll play a key role in supporting the delivery of a high quality and professional People Service.

What you’ll need: To join us you will need a Level 2 apprenticeship/qualification in a related discipline. You will have relevant and recent experience in HR or an administration environment. A key part of this role is maintaining our DBS systems, processes and procedures. You will be methodical and diligent and able to manage your own workload and have experience of using Microsoft Packages for processing, presenting and manipulating data.
