Key Responsibilities:
- Handle general civil litigation matters including claims, possession, rent arrears, injunctions, access for inspections, warrant applications and closure orders.
- Cross‑cutting work with the litigation team on regulatory, environmental prosecutions and licensing matters.
- Review case files, evaluate evidence, analyse witness statements and draft court applications, orders and supporting documents.
- Attend court and tribunal proceedings, conduct advocacy, including contested hearings, and brief counsel where required.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Safer Communities, Public Health and Communities) to provide advice, support and training.
- Liaise with external agencies and partners under service level agreements.
