About the Post:

We’re excited to be recruiting an Internal Audit, Anti-Fraud and Assurance Officer (Career Grade) to join us at the entry level (grade 6) here at Barnsley, the place of possibilities. The main focus will be on undertaking planned Internal Audit work.

The Internal Audit, Anti-Fraud and Assurance Function adopts a broad, strategic approach to Internal Audit provision for the Council and external clients.

The role will expose you to a wide variety of strategic and operational matters. This will be challenging but a rewarding role that will make a significant contribution to the success of the Council and external clients.
