Permanent EYFS Class Teacher (Temporary TLR 3 Project) Required for September 2026 at St Helen’s Catholic Primary School.

This is a perfect opportunity for a teacher who exudes passion and enthusiasm for Early Years education, to work as part of our Federation Early Years Team. In September 2025, St Helen’s launched Nursery provision. The school has a mixed Nursery and Reception unit, and this year, we are looking to renovate and remodel our existing space to make this unit even more effective. The TLR 3 is project based, for one year, to develop our new EYFS space and outdoor area.

Our school members and staff team have a strong sense of community, moral purpose and strive to foster good relationships with parents. Our school community works together as a team and is also committed to working collaboratively in partnership as a Federation and across our wider community. The Federation schools are small schools with a PAN of 20. Our schools are on a journey of improvement, and we are looking for an Early Years class teacher to support us in achieving the consistent and high-quality education we are striving for. We have an experienced and supportive team, including an EYFS lead for the Federation.

We are seeking to appoint a teacher who:

  • Is an excellent Early Years classroom practitioner with experience in an EYFS classroom
  • Has high expectations of pupils’ achievement and behaviour
  • Is well organised with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Is committed to raising standards and ensuring children meet their full potential
  • Will inspire children to enjoy learning by creating an engaging environment
  • Is enthusiastic, a team player, flexible and adaptable
