Barnsley Facilities Services (BFS) has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated team player to support the management of our Domestic Services team. We are looking for individuals who are flexible, eager to learn, and keen to develop within a fast-moving and challenging area of our business. What matters most to us is providing every patient with an excellent experience through delivering a caring, high-quality service that achieves the right outcomes every day. We are therefore seeking highly motivated individuals who demonstrate the values and personal qualities that support the Barnsley Hospital way of working.
Main duties of the job
- Support the Head of Domestic Services in managing operational service delivery across Barnsley Hospital.
- Ensure the efficient delivery of Cleaning and Housekeeping services in line with requirements.
- Recruit, train, control, monitor and co-ordinate staff across operational activities to include domestic and housekeeping activities to maximise efficiency and performance in these areas.
- In conjunction with the Supervisors and Team Leaders, ensure plans and schedules operate to resource the service delivery requirements, including contingencies, so that conditions are always met.
- Work with the Trust and managers and supervisors in monitoring and recording of service activities and levels of performance to demonstrate compliance and improve efficiencies.
