We are seeking a motivated and caring Neonatal Staff Nurse to join our Neonatal Unit. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in neonatal nursing within a supportive and friendly team. Our unit provides special care, high dependency care and intensive care for babies from 27 weeks gestation and above.
It is essential that you are an RN or RSCN, possess the Qualification in Specialty or have a keen interest to work towards the Qualification in Specialty, Intensive Care of the Newborn. It is required that you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, an approachable manner, and a positive attitude with the ability to work effectively as part of a team whilst being committed to providing high quality care to the infants and families accessing our services.
The interview date for this role will be Monday 20th April 2026.
Main duties of the job:- You will be expected to deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to neonates and their families.
- Monitor and assess babies' conditions, responding promptly to changes.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, adhering to the NMC guidance, policies and procedures.
- Support parents in understanding and participating as partners in their baby's care.
- Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all clinical governance standards.
