Join our team as a Materials ManagementApprentice and gain practical experience while working towards a Level 3 SupplyChain Practitioner Apprenticeship.
You will beemployed on a fixed term contract, working 37.5 hours a week, with time forformal study. A high percentage of our Apprentices are recruited into permanentemployment within BFS during and on completion of their Apprenticeship.
Youmustnotalready hold a same or higher level qualification in the samesubject area.

Main duties of the job
As a Materials ManagementApprentice you will:
Inputand maintain computerised stock profiles and inventory levels for allwards/departments on the procurement system.
Delivergoods on a regular basis using manual handling aids, in loads of excess of100kg, including, contained hazardous substances, unpack and verify receiptensuring products are as ordered and to correct specification replenishshelves ensuring stocks are rotated.
Disposeof waste packaging including loading into/unloading from the cardboardcompactor in accordance with Trust Waste Disposal Procedures.
CollectNHS Supply Chain cages from Wards/Departments and return to the receipts area.
Ensurethat customers receive high service levels whilst maintaining lean stocks.
