As a Medical Workforce Officer, you will be responsible for supporting the Medical Staffing function to provide a comprehensive, high-quality, and effective service in the delivery of junior doctor rota coordination, ensuring minimum staffing is maintained at all times.
Main duties of the job include:
- Maintaining minimum staffing numbers is key to the role, as is attention to detail.
- You will be working in a very fast-paced, high-intensity working environment.
- A good knowledge of the 2016 Junior Doctor rota rules will be essential in your day-to-day role.
- With effective communication, you will liaise with numerous stakeholders in response to safe staffing requirements from a number of specialties such as Junior Doctors, CBU Management teams, and external providers.
- Maintenance and updating of a live rostering system.
- Ensure any vacancies are noted and cover arranged in a timely manner.
