3127 - Information Governance Support Officer
Weare seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Information Governance SupportOfficer to join our Corporate Information Governance and CAM team. This is apivotal role supporting the Trusts compliance with data protectionlegislation, Freedom of Information (FOI), and broader information governanceframeworks.This role is permanent
Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities
Act as a centralpoint of contact for all aspects of Information Governance, including DataProtection and FOI.
Manage andmaintain the Trusts FOI Publication Scheme and ensure accurate registrationwith the Information Commissioner.
Lead theday-to-day handling of FOI requests, including applying relevant exemptions andensuring timely responses.
Provide expertadvice and support to staff across all levels on IG matters.
Monitordevelopments in Information Rights legislation and update local guidanceaccordingly.
Collaborate withcolleagues to develop and maintain IG policies and procedures.
Coordinatemandatory IG training in partnership with the Learning and Developmentdepartment, ensuring alignment with national standards and the DSP Toolkit.

Excellentcommunication and organisational skills.
