This listing is for two posts of 14 and 18.66 hours per week. We require a highly motivated individual to work in our busy Emergency Department reception. You will be required to work with the minimum of supervision and as part of a team, dealing with all the clerical duties associated with patients attending the Emergency Department. You will work shifts (a mixture of 07:15 to 14:45 and 14:45 to 22:15) on a rolling 3 week rota pattern. This will include Bank Holidays and weekends as they fall on the rota. Applicants should possess good communication and organisational skills and be able to work under pressure. Previous reception experience and computer/keyboard skills are essential for this post.

Main duties of the job include:

  • Carrying out the full range of specified duties in the Emergency Department reception area to provide an effective and efficient clerical support service to the Emergency Department.
