The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 ÂŁ per year.

To deliver high-quality coaching to players within the U15/U16 age groups as part of Stevenage FC’scell-based coaching structure. The post holder will provide tailored development support in line withthe Academy philosophy and the Elite Player Performance Plan (EPPP), focusing on individual andsmall-group progression to prepare players for transition into the U18s.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and review engaging coaching sessions for a designated player “cell” within theU15/U16 squads.

• Provide individualised feedback and monitor progress through IDPs (Individual DevelopmentPlans) and regular reviews.

• Contribute to matchday preparation, in-game coaching, and post-match feedback fordesignated players.

• Work collaboratively with the MDT (analysis, sports science, medical, psychology, education& welfare) to support holistic player development.

• Record session plans, attendance, and player progress accurately on the KML system.

• Maintain clear and professional communication with players, parents, and Academy staff.

• Promote and uphold safeguarding, player welfare, and the Academy’s values at all times.

About The Candidate

• FA Youth Award (or currently working towards).

• FA Emergency First Aid in Football (EFAiF).

• Previous experience coaching players in the YDP or PDP phase within an academy or eliteenvironment.

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and matchdays.

• Working towards or holding the UEFA A Licence.

• Experience delivering within a cell or specialist coaching model.

• Knowledge of EPPP requirements and the KML system.

• Experience with video/performance analysis tools (Hudl, Veo, etc.).

About The Club

Founded in 1976 as Stevenage Borough Football Club, we dropped the \’Borough\’ from our name in 2010 when we won promotion to the English Football League for the first time in our history, although it has stuck as our nickname.

We currently play in Sky Bet League One, the third tier of English football. Our home games are played at The Lamex Stadium, which has a capacity of 7,800 supporters.

Over the years, we have achieved a huge amount in our relatively short history: including 2 FA Trophies, 2 Conference National titles, a League Two Play-Off Trophy & automatic promotion to League One in 2023.
