Role Overview: Support the Game Model Coach in delivering coaching sessions for a Schoolboy age group, including planning, preparation, and evaluation of coaching activities aligned with the coaching methodology programme.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in delivering coaching sessions and support the development of players.
- Plan, prepare, and evaluate coaching sessions according to the programme.
- Coordinate with Lead Phase Coaches and Game Model Coaches to meet players' individual learning plans.
- Record coaching sessions, fixtures, learning objectives, and development reports on the FIP system within deadlines.
- Manage the age group during match-days as required.
- Serve as a liaison for parents/guardians of the age group.
- Participate in all internal in-service and CPD events.
- Report to Lead Phase Coaches and Methodology Manager (Academy) as needed.
- Attend coaching and academy meetings.
- Assist with the academy review process for players and guardians.
- Report welfare, injury, and educational concerns to appropriate staff.
- Manage kit and equipment for the age group.
- Maintain knowledge of safeguarding regulations and legislation.
- Undertake personal CPD to meet role demands.
- Participate in appraisal processes.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Perform other duties as required within the scope of the role.
