Plymouth Argyle Academy are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, and inspiring goalkeeping coach to join our Cornwall Academy Coaching Centre in Cornwall. This is an exciting opportunity for a Level 2 (now UEFA C) goalkeeping coach who is prepared to work towards their UEFA B.Applicants would be required on a Monday evening between 5-7.15pm . This is an important role coaching our Academy players and others identified for future progression in Cornwall. It is critical that the successful applicant understands player development as well as assisting the club’s aim of developing more home-grown players into the first team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- To plan, deliver and review all coaching sessions and fixtures for the CACC in line with the club’s coaching syllabus.
- To design and implement Individual Development Plans for all CACC keepers as well asensuring that players receive a Performance Review every 12 weeks.
- To liaise closely with the Head of Cornwall Recruitment & Development to identify and monitor incoming trialists, as well as identify areas of need within Cornwall Academy Goalkeepers.
- To integrate into the Academy coaching team and building positive relationship with Academy staff, players and parents.
- Attend all club coaching Continuous Professional Development events and external training courses as set out in under the EPPP guidelines.
