Hull City Academy
are currently seeking to recruit Casual Development Centre Coaches to assist in the preparation and development of players for the Academy Talent Pathway. The successful applicants will be expected to deliver the technical programme for the Development Centre sessions, enhancing the individual development of players within the programme.
The main objective of this role is to assist with the planning, delivery, and review of the coaching programme in line with Hull City Academy philosophy, as well as to coach a specific age group.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Planning & delivering coaching sessions within the Academy’s technical programme
- Ensuring all coaching sessions and games follow the Academy’s philosophies
- Attending all required Academy Meetings
- Participating in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) sessions as required
Candidate Requirements
- Experience working with players aged between U7s-U12s (Essential)
- Availability to work a minimum of two evenings a week (from 5pm onwards)
- Willingness to work unsociable hours and weekends
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels
- Dedication to self-improvement and personal development
- Focus on individual player development
- Understanding of how children learn
The safeguarding and welfare of players is paramount. This position is subject to the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

About The Club
Hull City Academy develops talented young footballers from ages 8 to 23. Since achieving Category Two status in 2015, the Academy has made significant progress, focusing on nurturing players with outstanding potential into first-team players. Many scholars have made their First Team debuts, and some have transferred to top leagues across Europe.
The EFL has introduced positive action measures to increase diversity among coaches and managers, requiring clubs to shortlist at least one qualified BAME candidate for roles in academy football requiring UEFA A or B Licenses.
