Treasurer

Barnsley Sea Cadets is looking for a Treasurer to join our committee.

The role of the treasurer will be to help the Chairperson monitor the charity\’s accounts and finances. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a great organization supporting young people in the local area.

The committee meets once a month, but as a sea cadet volunteer, you will be welcome to join at cadet events such as parades, fundraising, and family nights at the unit.

Requirements

1. Over age of 18 years old
2. Able to complete a small programme of online training
3. Provide two references

How many volunteers are needed: 1

Recruitment process

Interested parties can email umtbarnsleyseacadets@gmail.com and will be contacted by chairperson Maddison Brown. After an informal chat, the applicant will need to complete 2 hours of online training and be set up on the charity\’s bank account. From there, we meet once a month as a committee.
