Based in Barnsley | 2-Year Fixed-Term Contract | Level 4 Apprenticeship (18 months)
Are you curious about how businesses are kept safe, fair, and legal? Do you want to make a real difference in your community while gaining a nationally recognised qualification? Then this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
We’re looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Regulatory Services team as an Apprentice Compliance Officer. This is your chance to kick-start a meaningful career in local government, where no two days are the same.
What you’ll be doing
As part of our friendly and supportive team, you’ll :
- Assist Regulatory Services Officers in ensuring local businesses follow the rules
- Help with back-office admin tasks that keep our service running smoothly
- Collate and manage important data and information
- Learn how regulations protect people, places, and the environment
What you’ll gain
- A Level 4 Regulatory Compliance Officer qualification (18-month course)
- Hands-on experience in a real working environment

You Don’t Need Loads Of Experience—just

- The ability to work as part of a team and independently
- GCSE English Language, Maths and a Science subject at a minimum of grade 4/C or equivalent.
