About The Post

We are looking for passionate and experienced grounds maintenance operatives to join our EDMS (Environmental Demand Managment Service ) team to ensure our communities are green, clean, and vibrant to help shape a better borough for everyone.

As an EDMS Driver, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing the local environment. You’ll be operating vehicles and a range of powered and hand equipment to carry out important environmental works including , but not limited to, h edge cutting , weed and detritus removal, footpath reinstatement works , shrub pruning , vegetation cutbacks and g eneral environmental improvement tasks .

You will have experience of working outdoors in all weather conditions and will be able to undertake strenuous duties, often under pressure to meet targets and deadlines

You’ll be out and about across the borough, making a real difference to the public spaces that matter most to our residents. This role involves a 5 from 7 shift pattern, usually Monday to Friday, but with the flexibility to work weekends if required .

Reporting to a Team Leader and under guidance from the Team Co-Ordinator, You\’ll be part of a supportive and proactive team that takes pride in keeping our borough looking its best.
