This post requires an Enhanced DBS Check.

About The Post

Position based across Children’s Social Care.

Responsibilities – Post 1

  • Act as the first point of contact for all external enquiries coming into the Integrated Front Door, Assessment Team, Children and Young Peoples Team or Disabled Children’s Team on a rota basis by phone or email.
  • Process referrals for services, giving due regard to immediacy and priority.
  • Take minutes of meetings in person or via Teams.
  • Process all documentation and correspondence in Mosaic, upload to support services, and maintain the child’s social care record. Identify children and retrieve their records in Mosaic, forwarding required information to Social Workers.
  • Assist with Subject Access Requests.
  • Manage petty cash issuance.
  • Perform general administrative duties.

Responsibilities – Post 2

  • Provide panel support facilitating, scheduling and recording of sensitive and confidential Adoption and Fostering meetings in person and via Teams, directly on to laptop.
  • Coordinate statutory information.
  • Maintain records and deal with a range of internal and external stakeholders in support of Children’s Services.
  • Provide finance support to the Adoption and Fostering services.
