Working Arrangements: Monday to Friday, around 7.5 hours per day

Contract type: Fixed Term until 31/03/2027

Responsibilities

  • Provide general administration support, respond to emails, telephone and face-to-face enquiries, and assist with meetings and recording proceedings.
  • Support a range of internal and external customers and contribute to the smooth running of the Safer Neighbourhood Service.
  • Assist with basic finance and the use of digital applications and systems.
  • Work as part of a team and liaise with colleagues and stakeholders at various levels to achieve service objectives.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Level 2 qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience in a business support environment; knowledge of Safeguarding Adults and the work of Safer Neighbourhood Services is desirable but not essential.
  • Flexible approach, excellent team player, and ability to contribute to the service’s smooth operation.
  • Willingness to undertake a police vetting process in line with local and national requirements.
  • Prepared to start work with all necessary legal documents (e.g., valid visa). Note: the organisation does not sponsor visas for skilled or temporary migrant workers.
