Overview

In this role you support women within the criminal justice system, guiding them to understand factors behind their involvement and create pathways forward. You will work as part of a women-centered, trauma-informed service that collaborates with partners across locations. The role focuses on empowering decision-making and building skills to improve lives for women, families, and communities. A meaningful hook is the opportunity to contribute to transforming lives through compassionate, person-centered support.

Responsibilities

  • Guide women through the complexities they face and provide practical guidance
  • Equip clients with knowledge and skills to make informed choices
  • Deliver trauma-informed support within a women-centered service
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify pathways and referrals
  • Provide compassionate, empathetic case support to individuals with multiple needs
  • Contribute to planning and delivering support sessions and activities
  • Maintain accurate records and progress notes in line with service protocols
  • Support continuity of care across locations (Rotherham and Barnsley)
  • Engage with families and the community to bolster outcomes
  • Ensure safeguarding and confidentiality in all interactions
