About the Post: We are seeking an experienced, motivated and inspiring Targeted Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) Team Manager to lead, manage and develop a high‑performing service that supports young people to achieve positive education, employment and life outcomes. This key leadership role ensures the effective delivery of high‑quality, targeted IAG support for specified cohorts, in line with statutory duties and local priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading and managing the Targeted IAG service to ensure high‑quality, consistent and timely IAG is delivered to specified groups of young people.
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory duties and safeguarding responsibilities.
  • Using data and intelligence to deploy resources, monitor performance and drive improvement in the delivery of key performance indicators.
  • Developing and maintaining strong partnerships with schools, colleges, providers and other key stakeholders to ensure those who need the support get it.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Experienced leader with a background in careers guidance and NEET prevention strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of statutory guidance in relation to participation.
  • Excellent leadership skills and a commitment to improving outcomes for young people.
  • Must be able to speak English to an appropriate standard.
  • Requires an Enhanced DBS Check.
  • Unable to provide visa sponsorship – the organisation does not hold a Home Office licence.
  • If living overseas or having lived overseas in the last five years, must apply for overseas criminal record checks as required and prepare necessary legal documents (e.g., a valid visa).
  • Veterans of a public pension may experience changes to their entitlements upon commencing employment; advice should be sought from the appropriate Pensions Authority.
