About the Post
Environment and Transport is embarking on an exciting journey to mobilise a transformational change programme across operational frontline services. Working in collaboration with our Domestic Waste Collection and Neighbourhood Services Teams, you will play a key supporting role through this programme of change.
With strong analytical and creative problemâsolving skills, you will help support and ensure that frontline resources are effectively deployed to meet the needs of our residents and communities. This will include the development of new tactical deployment tools and techniques as well as maintaining and improving the existing tools we have in place. Working knowledge of Excel is essential and experience of Microsoft Power BI or other analytical software would be an advantage.
This is an exciting opportunity for you to play a key part in this journey helping to further improve the efficiency of operational services for the benefit of our residents and communities. As the Tactical Deployment Officer you will have strong communication skills and be able to present your analysis to a wide range of audiences.
Qualifications & Experience
- Level 3 qualification.
- Experience working with large frontline operational services.
- Strong drive to work alongside frontline operations to improve customer experience and service efficiency.
- Knowledge of Domestic Waste Collection and Neighbourhood Services is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and creative problemâsolving skills.
- Working knowledge of Excel; experience with Power BI or similar analytical software is an advantage.
