About The Role

We are looking to recruit experienced, highly motivated, enthusiastic and committed professional social workers to join our Children and Young People Team, based in Cudworth. You will be part of a team delivering a service where children feel safe, are listened to, and receive a timely, creative and individual response. You will be focused on outcomes for children and young people, ensuring that intervention in children’s lives are meaningful and proportionate.

Responsibilities

  • Provide services for children subject to Child In Need, Child Protection and in care proceedings.
  • Work in partnership with families and agencies to drive plans and promote outcomes.
  • Offer support to families and facilitate safe planning.
  • Manage case continuity and ensure consistent support for clients.
  • Participate in induction, supervision and continuous professional development programmes.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Social Work qualification.
  • Registered with Social Work England.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working with children subject to Child In Need, Child Protection and in care proceedings, working in partnership with families and agencies.
  • Enhanced DBS check required.
  • Ability to speak English to an appropriate standard.
