Overview
In this role you support Barnsley’s Children in Care Sufficiency Strategy by steering cross-functional workstreams within the Programme Management Office.
You will translate complex demand and cost data into actionable programme intelligence for senior governance and ensure milestones are met.
You’ll collaborate with social work teams, commissioners and the PMO to maintain progress and escalate risks early.

Responsibilities
- Maintain programme governance and track milestones across the Children in Care workstream
- Analyze complex demand and cost data and translate insights into reports for senior leadership
- Produce clear reports and briefings to support gateway decisions
- Spot drift, escalate risks, and support proactive risk management
- Collaborate with social work teams, commissioners and the Head of PMO to keep the programme on track
- Support development and operation of internal residential provision and kinship initiatives referenced in the strategy
