Barnsley Council is seeking a part‑time Return Home Interview Officer (18.5 hours) to conduct independent interview work for children and young people who have been missing from home or care.
You will work closely with Children’s Social Care, Early Help, Police, Education and Health to gather information, assess risk and provide guidance and signposting to reduce future risk.
You will produce clear written records for case managers and participate in strategy meetings when required.
