About The Post
Do you have experience of caring and supporting children and young people and have high aspirations for children to flourish and achieve? The role will require you to provide a high standard of care, engaging and nurturing our children and young people. Keeping them safe, helping them to learn, develop have fun and experience new and different opportunities ensuring positive outcomes for our children and young people.
These roles require you to be passionate, dedicated, resilient, creative, resourceful, motivated, and flexible to meet the physical and emotional demands of the role.
Our children’s homes provide 24/7 Care on a rota basis, working a shift pattern (Early, Afternoons and Waking Nights) which will also include working weekdays, weekends, bank holidays, and sleeping duties. Successful candidates will be expected to work as part of a team to cover the shift patterns.
The successful candidate will possess good IT skills and hold a relevant level 3 qualification or have the commitment to complete Diploma level 3 within 12 months of their appointment. The successful applicant will be flexible in supporting the team in meeting the assessed needs of the children and young people.
The successful applicant will have experience of working in a residential environment and have experience of working with children/young people and/or adults with emotional and behavioural needs. The successful applicant will work as part of a team and be committed to maintaining and developing a quality service. They will also contribute to the protection and safeguarding of the children and young people and promote their education, health and well being to effectively meet positive outcomes.
