Requirements:

  • Speak English to an appropriate standard.
  • Enhanced DBS Check required.
  • Overseas criminal record checks may be required if the successful candidate has lived overseas in the last five years.
  • Candidates must be prepared to start with all necessary legal documents (e.g., a valid visa). Barnsley Council does not sponsor visas.

Duties Will Include:

  • Supporting and supervising performers and artists.
  • Building and breaking down event equipment.
  • Engaging with event attendees and members of the public.
  • Front‑of‑house operations.
  • Business engagement activities.
  • Promotional material distribution.
  • Manual handling.
  • Working as part of a cohesive team.
  • Site monitoring and adhering to Health & Safety protocols.
  • Ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of specific event delivery.
